Purchase terms

Payments: only credit or debit card (used as a credit card) payments are accepted. Cash, personal check, cash on delivery, bank transfers, Venmo, Wise or PayPal aren’t accepted currently.

We ship our violets as starter plants in 2, 3oz solo plastic cup or 2-1/2 plastic nursery pot. Starter plants size varies but they will be grown at our nursery until they are big enough to safely arrive to your home. All plants guarantee to be healthy and time of shipping. They may be in bloom. 

Please allow 1-7 days for processing based on workload and weather.

Same day or urgent orders cannot be accommodated. Plants need to dry before packing and shipping.

No international shipping will be offered at this time. 

Shipping policy

We ship plants all year around. Order ship strictly on Mondays

Shipping fee will be calculated at checkout based on your location. Most of the time plants will be shipped by USPS Priority, USPS Priority Express or UPS.

If you place multiple orders, I will combine shipping and refund any extra postage.

Winter shipping (approx. November 15 thru April 15). Safe delivery during winter period is only guaranteed by USPS Express mail when signed upon delivery. Exclusions will be made if buyer location is at south and forecasted temperatures in transit above 50F. If forecasted temperature during transit falls > 50F, heat pack will be added to your shipment for extra fee. If you are not signed for the package, you are assuming the risk and in case of cold damage refunds will not be issued. 

(when temperature is above 50F and below 90F) or USPS Express (when temperatures below 50F and above 90F). Heat pack is required if temperature forecasted to be below 50F during shipping time.

Summer shipping. (approx. April 15 thru November 15). Warm months are considered the best and safest for shipping of African violets. If shipping falls on heat wave when temperatures are > 90F package shipping will be postponed and shipping will be resumed when temperature returns to seasonal average.

In case of Inclement weather (hurricane, prolonged severe weather, snowstorm, severe cold front etc), shipping will be postponed until weather conditions return to normal. Buyer will be notified on delay. 

Refund & Return Policy

Refunds will be issued to original method of payment or store credit. If we are unable to process a refund to your account, will offer a credit on a future order or re-shipment (subject to availability of items ordered). Please read below for IMPORTANT details.

Upon receipt of order--notify us about any problems or concerns within 48 hours.

After plants arrival, you are responsible for the care and environment provided to the plants. We professionally pack the plants, but some minor issues (a broken leaf or two, some loose soil) may happen in transit and are not considered damage. If plants arrived dead or heavily damaged (e.g., crown destroyed), please contact us witting 24 hours with clear photo of damage. We will issue a refund to your account or reship plants if available.

It is normal for plants to exhibit slow growth during first 1-2 months after receiving them from us as plants are acclimatizing to your growing conditions. If plants past acclimatizing period have visible signs of destress or looking unhealthy, please contact us. Most problems can be resolved if addressed in time. Don’t’ wait until the plant is nearly dead. Emails with photos, name of variety, and an outline of care and environment will allow us to understand and suggest our best corrective actions. If plant arrives with visible pests or (tested) disease, email with photos and we will issue refund to your account.

Most African violets will bloom within 3 months of receipt, given proper care. If your plant's first blooms are not true to description, please wait for a next flowering cycle. If plants continue to produce flowers not true to description (some variability is allowed), we will issue refund (if within 3 months) or replace/credit on future order if no true blooms appear after 3 months after receipt.

Please note: Variegation and flower color may vary with growing conditions and season. For example: degree of variegation is highly sensitive to temperature. Variegated varieties are more green during hot summer. Growing temperatures are not the only variability, soil pH, fertilizer, flower age, soil type, watering scheme could also be responsible for overall appearance of the plant as well as its general health. There natural changes or plant responders to your care do not qualify for returns or refunds.

Return of items. Please, do NOT return plants! Plants are perishable and may not survive the return trip back to us. Please read the above paragraphs and contact us with your concerns or problems.
